    Motorola NVG589 - ATT Uverse

    Hey guys,
Does anyone have any experience with these routers? Just got uverse and am trying to access my apex from the net and can't get it to work. I can access it for within my network but not outside of it.

After you save a screen shot on your computer, click the Image icon in the post editor and upload it.

Russ explained it to you here but if pictures help here you go:

    Capture1.PNG

    and

    Capture2.PNG

do the top arrow to find the screen shot and the bottom arrow to upload it.

Post a screen shot of the Apex1 service (click Custom Services) please. Also post a shot of the IP Passthrough page

I didn't mess with the pass through page at all. Also, I cannot get this thing to email me either. I tried numerous different email addresses that are supposed to be non-ssl. The last one I tried is aol.com on port 587 but I got nothing.

The port forwarding is configured to forward traffic received on port 3321 on the the Internet side of the router to port 80 on the local side. Set the Apex http port back to 80 and try again.

still wont work. I'm using the iphone app to try and access from the outside. The app is set to Name: Apex1, Host: 108.220.69.173, Port: 3321
The ip address is from whatismyip.com. I also rebooted the apex after the last change to port 80

Is there something else I have to with this to enable port forwarding? Still can't get it to work.
Got it working. IP pass through has to be enabled for it to work..................
