I read that I will need to make another purchase other than full Apex to make it wireless? A gaming adapter?
I have AT&T Uverse also. What gaming adapter do I need? Brand? Model? Where do I get it?
Thanks

Your best bet is a wireless range extender with an ethernet port. This is what I use.

I am following this question. I plan to buy in Apex soon and I also have an AT&T router that I want to hook up wireLess
looks like they are $70. What other options are there for an AT&T uverse router?
So this is something everyone needs? Or is only if you might need it because a small router coverage? Does everyone have to buy a range extender??
A wireless bridge / gaming adapter / media bridge is only a needed if it is impractical or impossible to use a network cable between the Apex and the router. A hard-wired connection is the best, but a wireless adapter is quite commonly used.
The drawback is that Apex firmware updates cannot be performed across a wireless link.
The Netgear WNCE2001 is a popular model.
There are many others.

Network cable means Ethernet cable? My tank is in another room away from the router, but if I installed a cable outlet and ran the Ethernet cable from the room into the wall up in the atic and then dropped it into another wall outlet near the router. It could work fine. Then no gaming adapter ?
So if I use the Ethernet cable instead of running it wireless I can still check on my system from anywhere in the world mobile through internet or on a computer?
