AFS Feed Quanitity too high

I have a 29 Gallon tank with only two clown fish and about 10 LPS and 3 SPS. The lowest setting on the AFS does not deliver any pellets, while the next highest dumps about 20 pellets. Does anyone have any tricks to get a smaller amount of pellets from it?

The advertising states you can dial it down to only a few pellets, but so far this has not been my experience. I am using the Crossover diet that comes with the module.

The lowest setting should get you about 4-8 pellets. The next opening should get you 15-20. Make sure you are not skipping a notch.

The first notch has a lot of slop, I taped it too the more open side and now get about 4 pellets per rotation. I also realized I can set it up for multiple rotations to get the desired quantity.
