Apex jr. crashed when downloading latest version! HELP!

I believe I followed the downloading instructions. I've done 2 other downloads with no problems. When I downloaded the latest version all of a sudden everything connected to the Apex shut completely down and all my programming was wiped out. It would not let me do a restore either. So I figured I'd start all over. The EB8 outlets are not showing up on the display module. It has some weird numbers in the set up page.(?) Where do I go from here to get back to like it was when I took it out of the box?
Thanks. This shows up in the XML status:
This page contains the following errors:

error on line 21 at column 8: PCDATA invalid Char value 1
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

I think the simplest thing to do is contact support. They'll likely initialize your controller and all will be well again.

Just an update: A fellow member of my reef club suggested I do the following from the Display Module: System- Init.ALL- yes.
This will reset the Apex back to when you took it out of the box. Have to do all my programming over but I have my Apex back!
    Very simple procedure.

Thanks for the tip, I'll keep this in mind just in case it happens to me in the future (I hope not).
