Outlets won't shut off, not low wattage

I have five outlets that are't shutting off when switched to "auto". It is currently 11:52 pm my time, and the apex web interface is displaying the correct time and date. If I manually switch them to off, they stay off. Outlets 4, 6, and 8, are currently on, and set to auto. VS1 and VS2 are also set to auto.

Outlet 6 is one ballast running 2x24w t5.
    T5Fan_1_6
    Fallback OFF
    Set OFF
If Time 10:00 to 23:00 Then ON
If Temp > 82.5 Then OFF
    Min Time 001:00 Then OFF

Outlet 4 is two meanwell eln 60-48D drivers.
    BlueLed_1_4
    Fallback OFF
    Set OFF
If Time 10:00 to 23:00 Then ON
If Temp > 82.5 Then OFF
    Min Time 001:00 Then OFF

Outlet 8 is two meanwell eln 60-48D drivers.
    WhiteLed_1_8
    Fallback OFF
    Set OFF
If Time 11:30 to 21:30 Then ON
If Temp > 82.5 Then OFF
    Min Time 001:00 Then OFF

    VS1 is as follows:
    WhiteLedVS1
If Time 11:30 to 13:30 Then RampUpWh
    If Time 13:30 to 20:30 Then RampOn70
If Time 20:30 to 21:30 Then RampDnWh
If Time 21:30 to 11:30 Then OFF

Right now at 12:08 it's set to "auto" and running rampdnwh. It should have been off at 9:30 pm.

    VS2 is as follows:
    BlueLedVS2
If Time 10:00 to 11:30 Then RampUp
    If Time 11:30 to 23:00 Then RampOn90
If Time 22:00 to 23:00 Then RampDown
If Time 23:00 to 10:00 Then OFF

It's running rampon90. It should have shut off at 11:00 pm.

Also the temp displays the correct number, but the graph is just a flat line. And there is no 4thvariable speed outlet, just 1-3.

    Any ideas?

I think I figured out the outlet problems. Even though the clock was displaying the correct time, I still needed to change the time zone to get the outlets to behave properly.

I haven't been able to figure out the temp graph or the missing 4th vs outlet though.

Thanks Russ. What about the temp graph? The amp graph started doing the same thing.

Also, this is what I get when I try to access the display setting or network settings. Just a half page. Pull down menus get cut off as well.

The temp graph will show a flat line for the first few hiurs until it has enough data.

Delete your browsing history from the beginning of time and see if that fixes the blank page issue. If it doesn't, update your firmware and webpages, delete your browsung history, and try again.

I did that a few times yesterday. I started with a factory wipe, then updated firmware, then web pages, then cleared history. Then started programming and noticed the problems. I just did another firmware update and web page update, and clear history, and the missing web pages are still there and graphs are still not showing after 12 hours. Is there a setting to enable the graphs?

As long as the probe is enabled, data should be logged and graphed.

When you updated the web pages, did every file upload with a Success status?

Can you view the XML reports? If so, post the XML status report. After you load that page, right-clock and View Source then copy and paste all the data displayed.

You are definitely missing VarSpd4; you can try doing an Initialize Outlets using the Misc setup page to resolve this, but be aware that you will lose all outlet programming. If you do this, wait several minutes before logging back in and checking to see if all outlets are there.

Looking at the datalog, the logged values are indicative that you don't have any probes (temp, pH, or ORP) connected. Are the probes connected, and in water?

Yes the temp probe is in the water and giving a reading. The amp graphs also don't show on the two eb8s. Don't have any other probes. If I initialized the outlets I could simply replace them with a saved config correct?

Outlets won't shut off, not low wattage

The datalog shows steady 20.5 degrees for the temp probe for later times. Your display is showing a realistic reading?

Using the display module menu or the Configuration->Probe/Switch setup page, disable the ports for any probes you don't have, such as pH & ORP.

No, you cannot restore a saved config in this case.

What are the chances of the initialize working? I have 43 outlets, and already spent about 3 hours today copying them over from my jr.

It should work. I'd delete then disconnect all AquaBus modules except for one EB, do the Initialize Outlets, then check after a few minutes; don't try to access the Apex until after it reboots itself. If all 7 base outlets and 8 EB outlets are present, then connect additional modules one at a time, wait a minute, and then check that all is well.

I forgot to mention earlier that the status XML data doesn't show the alarm/warning outlets either.

Question: did you restore a backup configuration from the Jr? If so, then that is the source of your problems. You can only restore a saved configuration onto the same system or an identical system. If my hunch is correct, don't do Initialize Outlets. Use Initialize All instead. B

I did not restore a config from the jr, I read that the other day before I even got this full apex yet. I don't have the energy to mess with that again today. I'll do the delete/initialize tomorrow before or after work and report back. Thanks.

Ok that worked for the outlets. Will not have a good day tomorrow after reprogramming all those outlets again lol. Thanks for the help.

The display and web interface are still showing correct temp and amps, but the graphs are not working. And I cannot access probe setup, or display setup from the web interface, the pages are still cut off after 5-6 web page updates/cache wipes.

I did another firmware update/webpage update/cache wipe and the probe and display pages are working now except for the amp "probes" and switch probes. I'm not sure if this is normal or not. The switch pages look the same.

The only thing that you can do with Amps probes via the web pages is rename them. That looks ok.

Are all the outlets there now? Post the contents of Status XML if you'd like a second opinion from Dr Russ.

Yes all the outlets are there now. Still have to set them all up, I just set up the basics last night.

The graphs are the only problem left. Ill post the xml when I get home...from my new job at the lfs! Thanks for the help Russ!
