Code to Limit Amount of Time an Outlet is On

I'm writing a program for my auto water changing system and not sure what program code I can use to have one of my pumps not exceed a certain amount of time being on. Basically my plan is to have a pump turn on based on a pressure switch and it will shut off based on another pressure switch, but I also don't want the time to exceed say 3-5min or so. So if the water level hasn't reached that high pressure switch yet, I want the pump to shutdown. I was thinking of the "Min" time function but I'm kinda confused on how that function works. Any suggestions?
