    Aquaray Intergration

Has anybody attempted to integrate an Aquaray into their Apex system with a bit of DIY?

I have obtained a GroBeam tile for a bit of an experiment for something.

The tile has 2 channels, and the PSU has two outputs. Both rated at 19.5vdc/0.7A.

Can anyone advise of a method or a driver that will give a variable output of 0-20v (approx.) while controlled by a 1-10v signal from the Apex?

    Cheers

    Bob

I also have a Aquaray Grobeam and would be curious on what others have tried or suggestions on this.

Ill get my teeth into this soon.

I've been conversing with others on another forum and it would appear the Aquarays are a reasonably "dumb" and basic setup. Which is to our advantage.

A meanwell driver for each channel with the appropriate power output and dimmer interface to the Apex is about all it needs, switching out the standard power brick.

I will report back when I've had chance to get some bits and have a play.

any progress with this? I have recently bought an apex and today just realized that my aquaray will not ramp without a little bit of DIY.

Any updates on this? I just got a pair of Grobeam 1500 and really would like apex to control my lights instead of getting yet another controller. I was thinking the easiest way prob would be to get a pair of meanwell to power each grobeam 1500 and controller the dimming via the 0-10v on the meanwell?

I don't think those are externally dimmable fixtures. All you can do with them is ON/OFF or use the proprietary controller.

If you want to try and replace their existing driver with a dimmable driver, then you're deep into DIY land.

    Hi, is there any progress?
I see on the internet that the GHL Profilux has Ledcontrol1.
    http://ghlna.com/expansion-modules/led-control-1
With this you can dim 1-10V by the Profilux the Aquaray.
What I mean to say is, that it should be possible for the Apex too or am I wrong?
Maybe this device will work directly on the apex.
    Anyone tried already?
