I am barely able to finish a long post before this forum logs me off. I use many forums and none of them constantly log me off like this one. Anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix? It isn't even when typing, if I walk away for a few minutes when searching old posts I have to log back in
The session inactivity timer on this forum is generously set to 60 minutes. However, you must have cookies enabled for this site in your browser and have used the Remember Me checkbox when logging in for that to work. The Remember Me will be preserved in a cookie, but that cookie will be removed if you deliberately log out, so do not manually log out - just close your browser window or tab when you are done using the forum. If you do not have cookies enabled and did not use Remember Me, the session timeout is 5 minutes.
Thank you, I did not have remember me checked. It sounds like that should fix it.
