Controller wont recognise 2nd EB6 (Australia)

Today i received my second EB6 in the post and upon plugging in into the Apex controller, i can't get the Status light to change from solid Orange.

Further, i can't see the second EB6 in the "module list" via the configuration - Module setup dropdown.

I have tried the following with no result:

    a replacement aquabus cable - X
Unplugging the first EB6 and only running the second - X
reloading the latest firmware to the controller and restarting everything - X

Any suggestions much appreciated before i call the supplier and return this EB6.

You've tried everything except using different jacks to connect that EB6 to another module - the EB6 has multiple Aquabus jacks as do most other modules. Try different combinations.

All combinations tried. I even tried plugging this EB6 into my other Apex controller on another tank. Looks like it will be getting sent back first thing next week.

So today i received the replacement EB6 in the post and i have plugged it into the Aquabus port on the controller, however the controller hasn't recognized that there is a second EB6 there. Both EB6 modules have there status light glowing Green. I have tried numerous Aquabus ports and cables. Can anyone suggest what else i may be able to try in order to get the controller to recognise the second EB6 so that i can program it?

This is what i see on the Module Configuration screen. Only 1 EB6:

If both eb6 are showing a green light , try to reboot the controller .

Have rebooted twice and still the same outcome. Wondering if I should reflash latest firmware?

It will not do any harm to try a firmware reload , have you tried to connect it to your other Apex ?

Works fine on my other Apex which is running a previous firmware rev. I'll reflash this latest Apex and see what happens.

Actually I just looked and both Apex controllers are running the latest 4.33 firmware. A reflash still produces the same result! This is doing my head in

Keep both plugged in. Save your configuration with the classic dashboard. Then from the display, go to system -> memory -> initialize aquabus

OK so 'initialize Aquabus' made no difference. Interestingly though, irrespective of which EB6 is plugged in (when plugged in independently) they are given the same address by the controller. I'm wondering if the issue is that the controller is giving the same address to each EB6 thus making them both useless when plugged in simultaneously?
    Anyone seen anything similar before?

Send support an email with a link to this thread. Usually initialize aquabus fixes that problem, but when it doesnt, support needs to telnet into your controller and manually change the address of one of the EB6s.

The initialize Aquabus should have corrected that.

This isn't an Apex Jr. by any chance is it?

This is a full Apex controller, not a Jr.
    Thanks guys.

So far tech support have suggested updating the EB6 which i have done, however this has made no difference to the situation. i have a phone support session booked for 7am my local time tomorrow which i'm hoping will result in an outcome of understanding what the heck is going on here. So frustrating!

Turns out it was an address conflict as expected. Both EB6's were taking the same address.
Bity now working, however it seems that outlets 1 and 3 are now swapped on both EB6's. I.e when I control the outlet 3 device, the outlet 1 device is controlled and vice versa....any thoughts?
