    Please help with firmware 4.34 Update

    After 2 hours I finally....successfully updated to the 4.34 firmware. That said, during the module setup E8 I must have made a mistake and have changed my E8 setup. I’m getting a slurping/variable power from each outlet. There is also a beep going off every 5 seconds. PLEASE HELP. Do I need to reset to factory setting? Thanks in advance!

    You'll need to please explain in more detail. I don't' know what you mean by "during the module setup E8", nor what "slurping/variable power" means.

    Also, to clarify - you can't update Fusion - Fusion resides on servers out on the Internet; only Neptune can update Fusion itself. You updated the Apex firmware to version 4.34.

    Thanks Russ....I will try to be more clear. After updating my firmware I have lost all of my old settings. I am also getting a clicking sound out of the E8...I'm assuming from my variable speed outlets. Additionally, none of my old outlets are showing up in my fusion dashboard. I cannot see or control the following:

    3.1 = Heater
    3.2 = T5
    3.3 = TunzeL
    3.4 = AquaMax Skimmer
    3.5 = Tunze ATO
    3.6 = Return
    3.8 = TunzeR

    Check the Module setup page. Does it show more EnergyBars that you actually have?

    Alternatively, post a screenshot of the Fusion Outputs page and tell use exactly what modules you have.

    There's no EnergyBar listed? What is the state of the EB8 status LED - not lit, green, amber, blinking or not blinking?

    If solid green it should appear in your list of modules. Another place to look is your display - go to Setup - Module Setup - Modify Name. It should appear in the list of modules.

    pull the power plug on the EB8 out of the wall, wait 15 seconds then plug in again. Let the controller reboot. Then check status lights of controller and EB, also Display module - module config list.

    I suspect the clicking sound is one or both of the relay outlets (4 & 8) turning on/off running a default program.

    I don't know how you can have a solid green light on the module yet the module not appear at all in the controller.

    You can try moving the Aquabus cable to a different jack on the EB - there are 6 to pick from.

    If no luck there, try plugging the EB into a different module - if it's plugged into your PM then plug it into your controller. Cycle the power each time and check on the Display to see if it appears.

    thanks again! Tried moving aquabus to every port on E8. I suspect I must have done something during the firmware update. Amy idea on how to re-install the E8 after firmware update?

    Do you have a backup of your outlet programs? If you do, you can try to initialize your controller. No guarantee that will find the missing EB but for sure it will blow away your programs but if successful you can reload them.
