I bought an ACjr w/serial port a few months ago and then bought an Apex set up for my main tank less then a week later befor setting up the ACjr, LOL!
I am currently in the process of making a 3D printed pico tank, and would like to use this ACjr to run the lights (basic on/off), temp/heater control,... and maybe use the PH probe if the one I have isn't bad.
I'm legally blind... so my vision isn't all that good (can't drive and small text is hard or impossible for me to read), and so the display on the ACjr is not very fun to read for me, lol.
Is there a way to program it on my computer? I keep seeing stuff about Aquanotes but I do not have it, nor can I find it anywhere.
I have the serial cable and serial to USB adapter.
After looking around a bit, here is basically the programming... I think.
Using examples from here and the AC3 sim (I don't see a way to upload to the ACjr through the serial cable in this program.)
TIMERS
RTN#-A02 <-- Return pump/flow
REF$-A04 <-- Refugium light
LED$-A01 <-- main lights
HET%-A03 <-- heater
FED&-N02 <-- not sure if that one is needed (that site I linked to notes it as "Feed Cycle Active")
PROGRAM
If Time > 00:00 Then RTN ON
If FeedA 000 Then RTN OFF
If Timer LED = ON Then REF OFF
If Timer LED = OFF Then REF ON
If Temp < 78 Then HET ON
If Temp > 79 Then HET OFF
If Time > 14:00 Then LED ON
If Time > 23:00 Then LED OFF
Thanks in advance for any help.
