Red Sea NO3PO4x Product in DDR

I was reading some advice on the DDR unit and it says to not use methanol. I am curious if this presents an issue with the Red Sea NO3PO4X product. They indicate on their website that it can and should be used with a dosing pump. Any suggestions before I use it in the DDR?

It can be use with a dosing pump without problem , i have done it for a long time . However apparently the DDR does not like very much to be put in contact with Nopox . There was a recent thread here where some fellow reefer had some problem with his DDR ( cracking ) and Nopox . I would recommend using a different container for now until we can know more about this .

Don't do it. See the text at the very bottom of the DDR page on Neptune's web site. https://www.neptunesystems.com/ddr-dos-dual-reservoir/

I would ask your local fish store or distributor to see if they have the DOS replacement head caps or can order them for you.

I called BRS and they told me that any standard 1/4" OD tubing should work. I ordered 100ft. of it from Amazon for 10 bucks or something.

Love it! However what’s the point if you can’t use the sensors?

sometimes you're the bug and sometimes you're the windshield just glad I read the directions after I poured it in the DDR got it out before it cracked. got lucky for once! and If I wanted to get crazy I could drop the sensor in the bottle but how long would it survive lol
