It depends. Tell us how you are dosing and with what device, and post the applicable programming. Also post your current skimmer outlet program.

At the moment I'm just using the DOS as an auto water changer. I was looking to see how to shut down my ato during water changes. And it got me wondering about how to control any outlet while the DOS is running. It doesn't have to be a skimmer. Maybe I don't want the afs to feed while the DOS is running. There must be a way to do this.
As I said, it depends. That is why I asked for your current programming - that way, I can be sure I'm giving you an answer which is applicable to *your* system.
In a nutshell, if you are using the APEX Fusion graphical scheduler for programming the DŌS, then you cannot do want you want. If you are using profile-based programming, then you can.

What doesn't work? Does it never turn off? Does it turn off for some things and not others! Need more information to give you advise.
