    please help programming powerheads

i have 2 jebao power heads and connected them through the V1/V2. Do i need to create virtual outlets for these? I have tried to use the wizard but i cant get them to pulse, only on with variable intensity. i just want them to pulse in sync with each other at 20%-40% intensity during the day then go to lower intensity at night. i have read several others posts about creating profiles but have no idea where to past in the profiles. if someone can give me an example that would be great.
    thanks

You don't "paste in" profiles. There are 32 profiles already available - you just rename and configure them as desired. If using APEX Fusion, click the icon that looks like a file folder. If using the classic Dashboard, use the Configuration->Profile Setup page. After you have defined the desired profiles, you can reference them by name in outlet programming.

Virtual outlets are for advanced/complex programming scenarios - they are not needed for what you want to do.

    Configure two pairs of profiles.

    [ Jebao1-Day ] ( an odd-numbered profile, such as PF1 )
    Type: Pump
    Synchronize: Disable
    Divide By 10: Disable
    Initial Off Time: 0
    On Time: 5
    Off Time: 5
    Minimum Intensity: 0
    Maximum Intensity: 60

    [ Jebao2-Day ] ( the next higher profile number, i.e. PF2 )
    Type: Pump
    Synchronize: Enable
    Divide By 10: Disable
    Initial Off Time: 0
    On Time: 5
    Off Time: 5
    Minimum Intensity: 0
    Maximum Intensity: 60

The above profiles will make the pumps oscillate between 0 and 60% every 5 seconds.

    [ Jebao1-Nite ] ( another odd-numbered profile, such as PF3 )
    Type: Pump
    Synchronize: Disable
    Divide By 10: Disable
    Initial Off Time: 0
    On Time: 30
    Off Time: 30
    Minimum Intensity: 0
    Maximum Intensity: 40

    [ Jebao2-Nite ] ( the next higher profile number, i.e. PF4 )
    Type: Pump
    Synchronize: Enable
    Divide By 10: Disable
    Initial Off Time: 0
    On Time: 30
    Off Time: 30
    Minimum Intensity: 0
    Maximum Intensity: 40

The above profiles will make the pumps oscillate between 0 and 40% every 30 seconds.

Adjust the times and intensities of the profiles as desired. Bear in mind that your pumps may not operate a low intensities. I don't use Jebaos, but others have reported varying results at intensities <30-35%

Then, program the VarSpd outlets for the powerheads.

    [Jebao1]
    Set Jebao1-Day
    If Time 20:00 to 07:59 Then Jebao1-Nite.

    [Jebao2]
    Set Jebao2-Day
    If Time 20:00 to 07:59 Then Jebao2-Nite.

thank you russ!!!!!!! i had to make the jebaos run 0-whatever percent you want. if you make them 20-20 it runs constantly. that may be the way the unit is made IDK but it works great now!!!!!

How could this program be changed to have pumps on one side run 4 hours and switch to the other side 4 hours?

Do you want pumps on one side to be OFF for 4 hours, then they switch so the other side is OFF for the next 4 hours? If that's not what you want, explain what you do want in greater detail.

Good evening, enjoying the topic already open.

I'm new to Apex and don't understand how to configure my powerheads (jebao cp55 - use 2) .:

    Outlet 01 - CP55_ESQ (Device 2_1 - Energy Bar 832)
    Outlet 08 - CP55_DTA (Device 2_8)

I would like to have the following configuration by varying the pumps:
    CP55_ESQ - ON 7:00 AM - OFF 11:00 AM
    ON 16:00 PM - OFF 19:00 PM
    ON 01:00 AM - OFF 02:00 AM

    CP55_DTA - ON 12:00 PM - OFF 18:00 PM
    ON 20:00 PM - OFF 23:00 PM
    ON 04:00 AM - OFF 05:00 AM
    ON 07:00 AM - OFF 10AM

In addition to being a beginner.

I use google translator to understand English. Sorry for the errors. thank you
