FWIW, I called Kessil last week about this and customer service said it's "in progress". I asked about compatibility with the current selling AP7 model (fearing I would be stuck with an incompatible model) and she provided verbal assurance that "the existing units would work...likely firmware and/or a connection cable". Keep in mind, this was "customer service"...not product development.
