How do you have your system mounted? (Share Pics)

I'm curious to see what others have done with their mounting, wire management, etc. This is something I'm not that great at... so I thought I would look to others to see how they set their systems up. So post a pic of your setup!

The best idea's I've ever had... are ones that I stole!

    Here's my before and after...

    Before... Quite the mess...

After... Still a mess, but better.

Meanwhile... I'm really curious about your light panel... Are they status lights? Pushbuttons ? ... Like it a lot and would really love to have one... DIY stuff? have you posted about it already? Thanks!

lol, I thought your before pic looked pretty good... in all my past setups, all that stuff would have just been in a big rats nest on the floor of the stand.

Having some extra space (entire garage) helps keep things looking a little nicer. I love the idea of a clean mount but I end up changing things around and it's enough work to undo the twist ties holding all my wires together when I want to move something or switch the equipment up.

Most of my apex stuff is mounted on the wall to the right of the tank (from the back). I have a second energy bar on the left size of the tank, up on the shelf above the tank.

    Alewi28,

Excellent work, great arrangement, simple and clean and neat, easy to see what is going on.
How do you handle reconfigurations? Does the mounting panel swing out or detach, or what?

Where did you find the egress panels for routing cables and cords through to the back of your mounting panel?

I am adding mounting a tablet/monitor with my system to be able to display Fusion status and graphs.

Thanks for the compliments. The front panel is just wedged in at an angle. I can pull the whole thing off if needed. I usually just pull it out and swing it to the right. If the right side of the board is still in there it will stay open. I could've trimmed the front board down a little more and put hinges on it. Which I may still do. Luckily I have not had many changes besides new pumps or adding another power head which I just plug in and hide all the wires behind the front board.

I ordered the grommets online at mockett. A couple of other people said they have seen them at home depot.

    Hi fab,

That's a really GREAT idea that you have concerning a tablet for Fusion! I bought each of my two young adult kids "Amazon Fire 8" tablets as one of their Christmas parents b/c they were only $40 apiece. I think I'm going to use your idea and by a third! It would be uber convenient for sure. Thanks!

    Best,

    Joe Mac

Hello, where did you get the large oval shaped cut out covers below your energy bars. Very nice clean system you have.

I take NO CREDIT for these pics. I saw them a while ago on a thread from another Forum and love the look. I would love to do something like this with the hornets nest of wires in my sump room

I agree the cable covers are nice. Anyone know where I could find these? I bought something that looks similar but it won't expand enough to get past the end of the ground plug.
