    Apex Fusion: No comm

I try to log onto my apex on fusion and it says isn't connected. Yesterday it was working fine. I was using this link and followed what it said but it still did not help. Also, what does it mean by On Your Browser ?

That means using your web browser to access the classic dashboard (the web pages built into the Apex itself).

    Just use the display menu.

Did you try simply rebooting the Apex?

Yes I restarted in like 5 times. My Ip address and gateway are different but when I change them, I turn DHCP back on and it resets them. How do I update settings?

Post you ip and gateway that it selected from DHCP and also go to your PC, go to command prompt and type "ipconfig /all" (without quotation marks) and paste those results here.

The ones on the apex are definitely compatible.

Did you deliberately assign the Apex an address of 192.168.1.50? If not, then there is something wrong.

Do you have a tiny green LED lit on the Ethernet jack on the Apex? Is the Apex directly connected to your router, or are you using a WiFi bridge?

If you have that green LED lit, enable DHCP in the Apex if it is not enabled then restart the Apex. Wait 5 minutes. Then see if you can link it.

Nope I did not assign the 1.50. I bought it from someone that might but I thought he reset it. There is a green light and it is connected to a netgear range extender with ethernet. DHCP is on and still says no comm.

Sounds like your range extender is not connected to your router WiFi

Connect a computer to it to positively test.

Anything else I can try? I saw you said that if I didn't change it myself to 1.50 then something is wrong. How could I fix that ?

It wouldn't hurt to reset your range extender and or router.

I wouldn't. That more than likely won't make any difference, but you will lose all your programming in the process.

Mine does it intermittently, don't no why. My guess is it the network doing it. I've learned to live with it using the dashboard when it happens.
