    Gyre Icecap

I need some help getting this to work.

I purchased the icecap control along with the alternate Gyre mode modified cable. All is installed. I see a green light on the icecap.

    My current programming is:

Variable Speed Port VarSpd3_I3 renamed GyreSPD
    Code within:
    Set ON
If Time 08:00 to 19:00 Then GyreDaySPD
    If FeedA 000 Then OFF

Variable Speed Port VarSpd4_I4 renamed GyreDIR
    Code within:
If Time 08:00 to 19:00 Then GyreDayDIR
    If FeedA 000 Then OFF

    ------------------------------------------------------------
    Program ID 11
    Profile Name: GyreDaySPD
    Control Type: Pump
    Synchronize Enable: No
    Divide by ten: No
    Initial Time Off: 0
    On time: 30
    Off time: 30
    Minimum intensity: 0
    Maximum intensity: 100

    Program ID 12
    Profile Name: GyreDayDIR
    Control Type: Pump
    Synchronize Enable: Yes
    Divide by ten: No
    Initial Time Off: 0
    On time: 30
    Off time: 30
    Minimum intensity: 0
    Maximum intensity: 100

Seems as if your trying to run both cycles at the same time. They are starting at the same time and off at the same time where 1 is 1 direction and the other is the other direction. They are fighting each other. I've also read that when hooked up to the apex you can't put anything under 15-20% as anything lower will not send a strong enough signal so the pump will turn off.

Based on the info from the link it sounds like one profile is for speed and the other is for direction and they need to start at the same time.
I think the 0 makes the pump direction go 100% forward.
    What's your thoughts, help.

Dayspd minimum intensity should be something to make it move while in reverse. That is the only issue I see wrong with it.

Added: you also don't have them running after 7pm... you know that right?

Yeah, I tried that GyreDaySPD min now at 100. I also altered the time to be longer 23:00. Call in the calvary, anyone else have an idea?

The icecap blinks red when plugged in. If I plug in the non-icecap, the original gyre control the gyre works fine and there is no red blinking.

Carlos from CoralVue is helping me and it appears the icecap will need to be swapped as I'm returning it and there sending me a new one.

Good to hear. I wasn't asking those questions to try and put you down. We just have brain farts sometimes.

Sorry about the necro resurrection lol. I just got the controller, pump, and cables to do this. I am suprised how little info is out there on the topic! Question is, are you still using the same code? Has everything performed well?

I'm curious if you've tried the native Maxspect controller as well. I have a pair of XF250's and can only get about half of the volume using the IceCap modules as I can with the original Maxspect controller.

I have been have issue with gyre mode too. I have been doing a lot of diagnostic and believe my single "gyre" cable is faulty too.
Havent tried a new cable yet.
