What is the unit of measurement for the PAR sensor

I'm trying to find this info anywhere, but cant seem to get an answer anywhere.
Does the PAR sensor on the Apex system give the measurements in umol/m2/s or in W/m2?

My 2 cents i love my PAR Meter from Apex it really works great. I don't have it in my tank all the time since i use it to go thru my multiple tanks using a wand. They give a very long cable which works to reach every where i need to. And i have LED's so i don't worry about seeing the bulbs degrade actively is another reason i dont have it living in my tank all the time. But it really is a great tool.

Thanks for your reply, just used my APEX PAR meter next a conventional par meter that displays the units and can now confirm that it is indeed µ-mol-m-2.s-1

I have to say I'm not using the PAR-meter in a conventional way, nor the rest of the Aex equipement i use, but also for the purpose I currently use it for it works very well so far.
    Thanks again for your reply

LED's do degrade much quicker then you think. I had to replace my Orphek Led's with new chips after 4 years as I lost so much PAR. Lots of my friends with 3-4 year old ai sols and radions have binned them due to them losing so much PAR as well... the 10year life is a myth, they may light up for 10years but are useless after much less.
