    Temp probe question

My temp probe on my PM2 for conductivity always reads about 0.7 higher than the main temp probe, is it worth trying to correct this or not worry about it, I just wonder if and how much it will effect the conductivity reading?

The best thing to do is to use a high-quality thermometer (preferably a NIST-certified or NIST-traceable one) to calibrate both temp probes.

Or, it you don't have a trusted thermometer, just recalibrate both to split the difference. For example, if the base temp probe reads 77.0 and the PM2 temp probe reads 77.7, make them both read 77.3.

Thanks Russ, think I will just recalibrate to split the difference
