Guys,
Can you please help, I don't understand why it isn't working. I have a netcomm N300 wifi gigabit router -NF7. These are the steps I've done so far:
1. Disabled DHCP on my apex controller
2. Checked IP address on apex controller was 192.168.x.x (for security I've used x)
3. Taken note of the gateway 192.168.x.x
4. Port forwarding settings in my router configured which is now as follows: ID - 1 Service Port 9900, Server IP - (Apex controller IP address entered), Enabled - Ticked. I them saved these settings.
5. Went to reef tronics website and used apex network diagnostic tool.
It comes up saying DNS name resolution test: my DDNS resolved to an IP address which is a public IP address (IP address validity test) and matches my current location. (Location check)
However the last check comes up saying the port number 9900 on my IP address is closed and does not respond.
Can someone please help so I can connect to Apple IOS app.
