Accessory ports to direct drive LED strings?

Hi there - first time posting here, forgive me if I'm not in the right place. I've done a bunch of searching on this topic online and here on the forum and can't seem to find any info, but I am sure I'm not the first person to inquire or think about this. Would it be possible to direct drive DIY LED series with the accessory ports on the new Apex? It is mentioned on the FAQ for the ports, but I'm not sure if that is what it is referring. The wattage states "under 30 watts" - are there exact specs as to the wattage output for each accessory port? Are we to assume the amps are about 1.25, given 24v and 30 watts?

    Thanks, Peter

Yes, this can be done. Each port can supply 30 watts. The DC24 ports can support up to 30w each.
