    Outlet on/off switches

Can someone tell me why I can switch outlets off on my phone, but it won't allow me to turn them on? The portion that display switches has light grey diagonal shading lines, not sure if this is normal.

the "covers" are so you don't accidentally turn something on or off on a mobile device. You can either open all the covers with the top button or do them individually by swiping the cover from right to left
