I recently moved and thus moved my reef. everything went as well as it could for moving a 120 gallon sps reef.. As I set everything back up I ran into a few things that are troublesome. One being my ATO doesn't work. It works in the sense that I can turn it on and off via fusion but the auto option isn't working. I have an overfill swtich (switch 2) and a low ATO reservoir switch (switch 3), the ATo switch (switch 1) is set up to run the ATO.
Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Sw1 CLOSED Then ON
If Sw1 OPEN Then OFF
Min Time 000:10 Then OFF
If Sw2 OPEN Then OFF
If Sw3 OPEN Then OFF
is how i had it set up previously without an issue.
When I unhooked everything I left all the wires to the breakout box connected, with exception to SW3 due to how its installed. I snipped the wires with intent to re attach. I also have email alerts set for SW2 and SW3 to warn me when either are on for more than 5 min.
It has been 2 years since I set all of this up and seem to have forgotten how to access each switch enough to trouble shoot this. But with all that prefix here is the issue:
The ATO doesn't work on auto at all, I get a SW2 email saying its open. No email for SW3. I thought maybe wires got mixed up so I swapped them out, one SW at a time. I can't get SW2 to not be open and it essentially stops my ATO from working (I think) and my skimmer doesn't work because it thinks the water level is too high.
Is there an issue with the breakout box?
Could it be a bad float switch?
I guess anything at this point is great because I feel like a cave man having to switch on and off my ATO! hahahaha
