Skimmer skim holder full

So I use a skimmer container to take skimmate from the cup. When the container is filled it automatically shuts down the skimmer. It is a reef octupus container with power switch/plug. Is there a code that could tell me when the skimmer is shut down. The power use drops when this happpens zone the skimmer pump is off. Something that alerts me when the power drops would do it.

You could alarm on the outlet on/off state of the skimmer

His skimmer is plugged into the RO skimmate locker which turns off his skimmer when it's full(not the apex)

That is correct. The container has a float switch which turns of the skimmer when the container is full.

If you have a 2016 Apex and a new energy bar, you could plug the skimmer controller into the EB and have the outlet always on. When the skimmer shuts down you would see the amperage drop for the outlet the skimmer controller is plugged into.

As an alternative you could add another switch to the skimmate locker and attach that switch to a BOB so the Apex will know the skimmate is full. You could put this switch lower in the locker so the Apex will tell you the skimmate is almost full so you could empty it before the skimmer shuts down.
