DOS not Priming I tried everything please Help..

hello,

my dose will not prime I have tried everything. I got new tubing and have been testing the measurement with the cylinders to make sure the pumps hold prime. I have been testing this for weeks. I check all my connections going in and out. I made sure the cuts on the tubing where perfect.. I also changed around my containers and then bought the DOs container by Neptune. I open the pump heads and checked the internal tubing. nothing is kinked or out of place. I thought maybe I had a defective dos so I bought a new unit since I wanted to do auto water changes and dosing alc and calc.. when I bought the second one I hooked it up and it worked for about a week and then lost prime again.. so I repeated checked everything and got very happy because it worked for 3 weeks straight.. but then lost prime again.. .. I rechecked everything and the mad new cuts on the tubing and connected it to the in and out.. it then worked for about 2 weeks and then lost prime again.. im very hesitant to hook this up to my system because I have very high end SPS and scared it will loos prime and not be accurate.

what am I doing wrong? has anybody had this experience.. does the dos work accurate for anybody over a long period of time?

please help im very frustrated.

Check the push fitting on that side including the rigid. Those get knocked loose in shipping fairly often and the rigid is often overlooked.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
