Recently we made available a new version of the Apex AOS (5.00_AB16) that has some fairly significant and important updates in it. We STRONGLY suggest you update your Apex to this version. Below are the instructions on how to do it (So much easier in the new Apex) and also instructions on how to update the firmware in your Energy Bar 832 which was also updated.
Major changes in this AOS version include:
- Improved WiFi stability.
- Updated EB832 firmware
- Enhanced TCP/IP performance on sub-standard data networks
- Updated WXM Firmware and Radio Firmware
- Updated Apex Display Module Firmware
- Added support for Radion G4 Pro extra channels
- Many other small enhancements and minor bug fixes
Below are the instructions on how to update your Apex from Apex Fusion. We strongly recommend doing this update only while you are in the presence of your aquarium. Remote updates are not advisable. AOS updates can be done over either WiFi or Wired network connections.
First you must restart your Apex:

Next, go to the update screen and press the update button:

After you do the AOS update, update the Energy Bar(s) 832 and other modules one by one. Here is the example on the Energy Bar 832 but all module updates that say "(Old)" should be updated:
