Angry PM2 module and temperature tile keep dissapearing from Apex Fusion

Hi everyone. This has happened multiple times already. So the first time I noticed it was when the temperature tile dissapeared from Apex Fusion (provided through my PM2 module). So I went to the Apex display and noticed that the temperature was disabled? So I enabled the temp again and had to calibrate the probe, bringing the tile back. Like a month later, it happened again? and last week it happened again, and again (after doing the process from scratch). I know that there's an update that I need to do on the Apex jr, so maybe that would help? Also maybe updating the PM2 module could probably help? I have two tanks, so the PM2 module is only used as input for my second temp probe. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Yes and Yes to answer your questions. That may help but I have seen first-hand the disappearing and reappearing temp which support was able to correct via a phone session. If you do not get it to stay once updating the fw on you base unit then the pm2 then I would email NS support.

I'm gueesing that your Apex is running 4.40_AA15; firmware - if so, update the firmware to 4.40_3A16 https://www.neptunesystems.com/firmware/ or, you could use the new beta version.
Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.

Thanks! I haven't gotten to doing this because of laziness and didn't realize that once the temp probe goes offline, the Apex turns the heater on constantly, which made my tank go all the way up to 85 degrees instead of the usual 80 degrees! Is there a code that I can use to prevent this besides adding a second temperature probe or the "SET OFF" function? My corals are fine for now, but that scared the crap out of me. Thanks.

I’m having the same problem with my temp probe on my PM2 as well. I just updated to the newest firmware earlier tonight and am still having the same problem.
