    Pmup in any Eb8 outlet?

Can I use the pmup in any of the Eb8 sockets? I'm concerned that if it requires only plug 4 or 8 then I won't have enough outlets.

BUMP!I also need to know before buying, is this pump required a relay out (4-8 on EB8) or it can work on any of the outlet?

There are two different packagings of the PMUP.

There is a PMUP that has a 110v to 24v Power Supply included with the PUMP, and there is just the PMUP with no power adapter.

If you get the one with the power supply, it will work plugged into any EB8 outlet.

    Hi Guys,
The PMUP per the Neptune systems web site "The PMUP is a 24VDC submersible pump that was designed to directly connect to the DC24 accessory ports on either the 1Link module OR the same ports on the new Energy Bar 832." so it wont run on a 120AC outlet.

You can buy the pump with an external power supply and use it like any other pump!

Terrance or RussM can you comment regarding using the pmup in any outlet on the EB8? In the video at the following link: https://www.neptunesystems.com/pmup/ at 2:40 Terrance shows it being plugged into the end of the Eb8 either 4/8 I'm not sure which one. Jonmos75 says any outlet will work, but I'm still dubious. The pmup pump only consumes 17w at 24v so I'm not confident it will meet the wattage minimum on outlets 1-3 or 5-7.

Watts are watts - the load on an EB outlet when a PMUP is used with the optional AC adapter will still be around 17-18 watts.
Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.
