    All dead now what

I came home and both aquariums were totally off, everything. I plugged the pumps and lights straight into the wall. Now how do I figure out what needs replacing. The apex control module or the power strip?

The only bit of any power on the entire system is a faint green status light slowly fading on and off on the power strip.

I've not heard of a EnergyBar status light slowly fading on and off. They may blink on and off. Disconnect the Apex base - does that change in any way? If not, then the EB is suspect.

See if you have a 12vdc adapter you could try to power up the Apex base. Many router's and modems use a compatible power supply. It must be 12VDC & 500ma or higher.

Now that it is completely dark. Fading may have been incorrect. It is blinking about ever second. A constant blink.

I unplugged the module from the power strip. It did nothing. So if i plug the adapter into the power slot of the module and it lights green. Does that mean it is the power strip?

The module powers on and turns on display screen and ph/ temp probes. So i am guessing it is safe to say it is the power strip.

If i replace the 8 power strip. Will i have to re-program all the outlets? Is there any way to get module to think the new is the old?
