    Used Neptune Apex 2016

I am looking to buy a used apex. It needs to be shipped to MN and it is below freezing. The seller has the two probes in liquid for shipping. I am pretty sure they will freeze before they arrive to my house. Any ideas on how badly they would they be damaged if they were sent dry? Any ideas on the best solution to this problem? Thanks for any help on this one.

Send them dry. They will behave normally after they sit in your sump for between 2 days to a week after being dried out. Just let am soak uncalibrated until the readings stabilize then calibrate.

That's interesting, I always thought the probes must be kept wet?

It's better to, but they arent damaged very much by drying out for only a few days (the cond probe can be dried out indefinitely without damage) and when you compare the potential of the fluid freezing and destroying the probe vs reducing the probes life just a little bit, the choice is obvious.
