    COR Pump

Ive been testing the Cor-15 since Aug and have had no issues. A bunch of things have been updated firmware and fusionwise to make public release as smooth as possible. As for the hardware of the pump it has been quiet and reliable since setting it up.

This is great info. I've been holding out for the pump. I totally understand why some are apprehensive after the release of the circulation pumps and Apex 2016 initial issues. I'm feeling hopeful the release of the COR will not have as many issues. Thanks for sharing.

The cor has actually been built and running for a few years. How many other companies build a pump, run it for a few years to work the bugs out, then put out 50 or so pumps to use and abuse before they start selling the product? None that I know of. Every company has issues at some point. I'm just saying.

It makes no sense to me why there is no release date? They have to know.....
Or there is issues with units, and they are delayed....

I was also waiting for the pump.
As there is not release date yet and Reef Octopus Varios are 30% off (good stuff), I bought one in BRS (now they are sold out, so many others thought like me).
Many of us buy the gear on Black Friday and this a missed opportunity for Neptune.

They sold out in a flash. I missed the sale on the varios. Back to waiting for the COR and stalling out my build.

This is great news. I look foward to getting a pair of Cor 15s

...., but i could pass up a pair of Vaios 6 pumps at 90$ discount per pump when we have no date. When the Cors hit the market they will sale out upon release and be forever before they in regular stock and even longer before a sale happens, even at 10% much less door buster prices.

Im pairing the Varios 6s with in line flow meters and running them off vdm ports to get a good bit of the same functionality.

I am by no means a RO fan, quite the opposite due to all the problems with the diablo pumps and first gen x150s, but the varios has been out a while now and my 3 year old RODC2500s is still running with pretty much zero maintenance or issues.

I don't expect DC pumps to last 10 years plus but if i can get 4 to 5 years out of them im fairly pleased. Hopefully there will be a sale on the Cor pumps in a couple years and these varios will be moved dowm to my other tanks or be used as back ups.

I hear ya. Unfortunately with MAP pricing an annual "10% off" is considered a sale for them when 20-25% off is a sale for most everyone else. I need a backup pump like yesterday. I guess I'll go ahead and buy something else, since they suck at giving trusted time frames for this release.

You could just get something like a sicce or Danner or Quiet One Pro as a back up and wait for the Cor.

If Varios were not on sale at those door buster prices i would have waited.

It seems that they are filming a promo video for the long awaited Cor pump that Neptune Systems is going to be selling.

I hope that this is a sign that the pump will be released in the coming days.

No doubt we will have to wait 6 months to a year after is released in the US before it’s released in the UK
