    Cleaning Par Probe

What is the best method to clean par probe? vinegar soak? I have quite a bit of coralline algae growing on the surface of the probe and par values have decreased. Best to scrape or soak probe to prevent damage of surface?

Vinegar/water mix is OK. I actually like it covered with coralline algae - it blends in better. Just clean the whitish disc on top. I find that. Vitalize does grow on it but it will get a soft scummy film which I just rub off with a finger or a toothbrush.
