    Ventilation of Dosing Reservoirs

Due to limited space I am planning on DIY dosing reservoirs made of various size plastic bottles. The bottles should be tightly closed to prevent evaporation. Any suggestions on how to let air into the bottles as fluid is pumped out?

I just punch a hole in the cap with a nail. That I big enough to let in air, and you won't be getting much if any evaporation.

I find that with drilling the 1/4" hole for the tube, I have enough air gap that prevents my dosing pumps from drawing a vacuum.
