    15' aquabus cable too short

I mounted a second EB8 about 20' away from my existing Apex and first EB8. It runs a second a aquarium that's on the same sump and recirc system. The longest aquabus extension cable I can find is 15'... just a little too short! Moving my existing Apex and the two EB8s any closer isn't an option.... how can I get a longer cable? Or connect two extension cables end-to-end? Is there a female-female coupling anywhere?

    Thanks!
    Jeff

You can get a 30' cable.

You can use any non powered non repeating USB cable. They can be found online very cheaply. I got some from monoprice.com

For the longer cables, you can get them up to 30-ft from bulk reef supply
    http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/aquabu...e-systems.html

You can also get either 15-ft or 30-ft extension cables:
    http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/aquabu...e-systems.html

I have purchased extra short ones from www.monoprice.com
    https://www.monoprice.com/product?c_...seq=1&format=2
These are the ones I used and are available in 18" to 15-ft

You can use any Male A to Male A USB cable but it MUST be passive...it cannot be Active (amplified).
