    Determining amps

I'm a soon-to-be Apex owner, and will be using with a new 72"x24"x19" tank. I realize the new 832 Powerbars allow for no more than 7 amps per outlet, 15 amps total. Unfortunately, I can't find amps for most of the electrical equipment I plan to use so how do I stay within the guidelines?

Amps = watts / volts so if you know how many watts something is, heaters are easy and most other stuff has a label that says how may it uses, divide that by 120, the voltage in your house, and it will give amps.

For example a 500 watt heater takes 4 amps.
