    Stand light flashes on

I have a light in my stand that turns on and off using the BOB. Friday it started flashing on for about a second then back off. It does this about every 5 min. On Thur I connected the same type of light in a second stand and have seen no issues with it. I thought there may have been a connection between the two but the timing doesn't quite match. The new light was added mid day on Thur. The flashing started Friday evening.

Could this be an issue with EB-8?

Make sure the connector is pushed all the way into the BOB...

Connection wasn't loose. I disconnected the 2nd light and the flashing stopped. I reconnected it to the 3rd and 4th connectors and it started flashing again. Any other ideas?

Which switch input were you using originally? If 3 or 4, see this post: https://forum.neptunesystems.com/sho...robe-Expansion

I originally had the new light on the 2nd input. I checked the probe exp and it's set to off.

On some previous tanks I had two stand lights hooked up with no issues like this.

I checked the output log and you can see the outlet turn on for 1 sec then back off. I'm completely stumped...

ok...I'm at my wits end. Nothing I do seems to work. I moved the wire thinking an electric cord from something else is causing interference...nope. I've switched the wires on the box and put the 2nd light where the 1st light was...nope. Could it be the wire to the new tank is too long? It's about 12' long. I don't think the BOB is bad. The 1st light works just fine when the 2nd one isn't connected.

    Simple code
    Fallback OFF
    If Sw3 OPEN Then ON
    If Sw3 CLOSED Then OFF
This first light is on Sw1

I'd clean up the code a bit:
    Fallback OFF
    Set OFF
    If Sw3 Open then On

Additionally I would invert SW3 so that the light goes on when it is closed. This way if there is a break in the wiring or the switch fails it doesn't turn on as they typically fail open.

Wat is sw3? Log it so you can see if it is making or and breaking a connection

formtesting you could put a short delay on to see if it stops the flickering.

Im just trying to think of ways to see if it's the code or the outlet

Sorry, haven't had time lately to mess with this. Do you think the length of the wire would affect it? It's about 15 ft.
