without a FMM, can I connect DDR to DOS unit and use them for different purposes?

Bought a DOS/DDR combo awhile back, ended up using the DOS for automatic water change w/ a 5 gallon bucket for new salt water as the DDR container was too small for my purposes.

The DDR container is currently just sitting here collecting dust. I have a Jebao DP-4 coming in today and plan to use it to dose two-part. I was wondering without a FMM to connect to, can I connect the DDR unit to the DOS and use it as my two-part container while using the Jebao pumps with it? I figure this way I can have apex monitor when the two part solutions are low. However, I was wondering if I hook it up this way and when the two-part solutions are low, is apex going to turn off my automatic water change?

Yes you can do this. If ddr is connected you will get the level switches, and the volume monitoring associated w each dos head. If you use another pump on it, the level sensor will still work. Volume measuring would not work however.
