    Aftermarket aquabus cables

Hey guys, wanted to say thanks for the links provided for aftermarket cables from monoprice.
    got my order in finally.

my question comes from uncertainty and inexperience.
are these cable part numbers correct ones for use with the apex ?
    105441 1.5' usb 2.0A

    105444 10' usb 2.0A

this is two lengths I ordered along with 3' , 15' and 6' as I wanted to make sure I had enough on hand to install and configure my apex equipment the way I wanted.
due to the reduced cost I ordered extra
the link I followed was from a recent thread and it had a few options on the length.

just need some assurance that I'm good to use these cables and won't fry any modules or gear.
thanks for your time and effort

Would there be a certain procedure to changing out an aqua bus cable on the active apex system ?

I ask because before my cables were received I used a few long ones just to get some modules going until I got the shorter ones needed for my panel I built.
should I turn power off to the whole apex unit to remove the aquabus cables and plug in the new short ones where needed ?
Or is it ok to just simply unplug the cable and plug the short one back in ?

again thanks to any information, just don't want to cause any harm to the apex.

You'll be fine unplugging the cables that are currently in use and swapping. No worries. You'll notice the status lights will start blinking in the middle of the swap. But, once the new cables are in place. Blinking will stop and it'll be all good
