Compatibility between USA and Europe

Hi,

I am living In EU and i have the new Apex with the energy 6 bar.
I have a friend in USA who is selling his equipment and i want to ask if there is compatibility between USA and EU version.

Especially for the DOS , WAV

I have Apex, EB8 and DOS (US versions) operating in Europe.
EB8 is designed for 110v, so you need a step-down transformer to operate it. You can get one on Amazon for 40 €.
Apex unit and DOS use DC power source (110-220). You can use it directly and you need a socket adaptor. 2€ each.
I guess it is the same for WAV. (DC power source).

Lets say i use the normal EB6 EU edition.
What about the compatibility of the WAV with the controller ? they can work i suppose?

The WAV will work fine on your EU Apex. Since you have an EB6 you'll need a '1LINK' module. The 1Link will connect to your EB6 using the supplied aquabus cable and the WAV will plugs into the 1Link ports and draws it's power from there. If you're going to buy the WAVs from your friend make sure you buy everything else that came packaged with the 1Link as you'll need it.

Yes.
on top of that, DOS has a DC power source, which can be plugged into an EU socket.
that is how I have it. Then you connect it via aquabus

I bought the APEX in Europe because of the EB6 but all the accessories (WAV, 1Link, BoB, PM1, etc) i bought in US as it's much cheaper!
You have some questions with warranty ...

Hi I just ordered a apex and to be honest I'm slightly disappointed, I do live in U.K. And what we get is a old unit EB6 with new apex , for the same amount of money and on top of it we need to buy more stuff to make it work with Other new equipment .... but still excited
