Apex and DC Return Pump Programing

Hey guys, so in short I have an apex 2016, along with a reef octopus varios 6 return which is directly plugged into my apex using the vdm port number 4. What I would like is to create some programming so that my pump runs at 65% throughout the day, and has a surge that comes on for 40 seconds ramping to 100% and then back down to 65%. I would like this to occur every 30 mins of the day from 9am to 9pm. Anyone got any advice on how this can be done?

    Cheers.

AMZ there is a video put out by coralvue on their blog site that shows step by step exactly how to do this. IT is all done with pump profiles and virtual outlets that you could call using an OSC (oscillate) command.

I have the same pump and was wondering about the added benefits or programming options versus keeping the Varios pump on the factory controller.
    Anyone with some insight ?

Hey, so I've watched the video put out by coralvue. The only issue with that is that because I want the timers to work and come on for only 10 seconds each they end up getting out of sync. I want the ramp up from 65% to 100% to be 10 seconds long on one timer. The second timer will be linked to a steady profile which will run the return for 30 seconds at 100%. The third timer will be a ramp down from 100% to 65% once again for 10 seconds. Problem I am having is that with the timers on osc functions they seem to get out of sync, with say timer two coming on first then timer one and so on... any way to sort this out so it begins with timer one first then timer 2 and so?
