    firmware update

    I'm trying to update my apex to the current firmware..
    I'm a MAC user
    I have a cat 5 cable from my router to my MAC
    I turned off wifi no success, I turned on wifi same results...

    error messages are firmware updated loaded successfully
    logging in to controller
    controller connect failed
    failed unlock attempt, retrying: operation timed out

    Have the same dam problem and it's driving me nuts! I am currently running the 4.51 and need to update to the 4.52 but when I did my update it said it was done successful, see pix #1.
    So then I turned back on my wifi and used my old Apex Fusion icon and tell me the update needs to still be done. If I try using the new Apex Icon on MAC and bring me automatically to this screen seee pix # 2.

    Will do but wanted to help the other guy since I have successfully did the update ~ thanks for your input and help, it's GREATLY appreciated.

    The image you posted does not show a successful update. The first two lines in the activity window where it says loaded successfully means only the utility loaded the firmware file into memory from your hard drive. Later, it shows that the utility could not connect to your Apex.
