    Ph Probe calibration firmware problems

For some reason, I cant get either of my probes to calibrate on my 2016 apex. They both read a perfect 7.0 and 10.0 on my classic unit. Every time I calibrate manually. whether I use 4.0, 7.0 or even 10.0 solution the first reading settles at 780. Is this a bug that Neptune is aware of?

For that matter, my SG probe settles at 780 during the dry reading.

Sounds like you may have a bad base unit with a bad solder joint on the probe input. Contact support.

It might be a bad base unit but I can assure you its more than just a bad solder joint. I did find that the calibration is better if I skip fusion and use the display unit but I cannot get the display Ph, PM2 Ph, or the SG probe to calibrate properly. I have spare probes for everything and the classic apex was rock solid until the new install yesterday. As far as I see it tonight, I paid $800 for a fancy new EB8 but now cannot control my reactor and watch anything that really matters. I'll be contacting support as soon as I can justify taking vacation time to deal with my new apex during business hours. Not thrilled.

AS far as the Ph probes issue. It was an old float switch creating electrolysis. My SG probe is still wonky but I have a suspicion that its a bad probe since my old one reads correctly .

Electrolysis is generally the result of stray voltage (although it can be just a salt and metal reaction). That would also explain your SG probe still being wonky. Do you have a grounding probe in your system?

How does that result explain the probes working on the classic Apex? Was that on a different tank?
