Two conductivity probes interfering with each other

    Hey all,

I recently installed two PM-2's on my Apex. One is wired into my sump and the other is wired into my kalk reactor. What I have noticed is that when one is plugged in, it reads correctly. However, when both are plugged in, the readings are cut down. Obviously there is some interference here. How do I resolve it?

By the way, all my probe wires are run together with no other electrical wires.

And I wanted to add that the water in the kalkwasser reactor is not in contact with the water in the sump, there should be no way for the two probes to be interfering with each other in regards to stray voltage.

Might be a ground loop. Try rearranging your aquabus maybe so one PM2 connects to the other then that one connects to the EB8.

Also try separating the probe cables from each other in addition to any power cables.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

Thats a thought. The aquabus as of now is:

    EB8A>Base>PM2A>PM2B>ALD
    EB8A>EB4>AWM>WXM>Display
    EB8A>EB8B
    EB8A>EB8C
