3 of 5 Apex's Down (2 Down in the past 24 hours)

One I have an RMA on. Hoping I don't have to do the same with this one.

I got an Apex from my local club as a loaner.

I go to update the firmware over a wired connection. Goes into bootloader and both the brain and EB8 are blinking amber lights.

Now the firmware utility doesn't connect to see it and the display is blank. Do I have to send yet another one in?

Why can't there be a reset button as expensive as these things are. When they work they work great. But there are way too many problems. Like I said I have 4 Apex's and now a 5th with the loaner. 2 are dead, and 1 the code gets garbled when I update the code (So no use really).

Any way to get out of the blinking lights?

If you keep power cycling it hopefully it will come out of the boot loader mode. I usually don't have problems updating the firmware unless I forget to turn off the anti-virus on my laptop.

When it does that the only way to get it unstuck is to unplug It, start the firmware update, let it fail a couple times, Then plug it back in. If that doesn't do it, RMA is your only option.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
