    Salinity / Conductivity Probe

    Hi I have a new Salinity / Conductivity Probe, and was wondering if they come calibrated, or do I have to do it ? If so have you any tip how to do it correctly

    You have to do it. This is the basic process.

    1. Place it where you want it to be in your tank. Completely ignore all readings it gives you and don't add anything to your code for 1 full week.

    2. Follow the directions in the PM2 manual to calibrate the probe using 53mS solution. Make sure to keep some on hand as these should ideally be calibrated monthly and no less than quarterly.

    3. Add whatever conductivity features you want it your code (email, ATO blocks, etc.) and enjoy.

    You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.
