    ATK/When statement sticky code?

Russ offers the following code example created by the ATK

    [ATO_PUMP]
    Fallback OFF
    Set OFF
    If SwATO OPEN Then ON
    If SwHIGH CLOSED Then OFF
When On > 005:00 Then OFF
    Defer 000:10 Then ON
    Defer 000:06 Then OFF
    Min Time 060:00 Then OFF

I get only operates at low level after 10 min delay and it can't come back on for an hour after operating. Am I right in thinking that the 2nd Defer is just to allow the level to stabilise before switching off?

I use delay... On regularly but never delay... Off

    Thanks

The Defer 000:06 Then OFF makes the ATO stay on and continue to run for 6 seconds after the lower sensor senses water continuously. Yes, this prevents the tipoff process from stopping prematurely if yet are any ripples in the water surface, and also results in a very slight overfill so that top off will not be needed again quite as soon.

BTW, the Defer ON delay is 10 seconds, not 10 minutes.

    ATK/When statement sticky code?

I moved this thread from the Apex 2016 forum to the FMM area - it's not specific to just the Apex 2016. Th question and answer are applicable to any Apex model.
