    optical sensor magnet mount (os-1m)

Recently purchased 4 of these and while installing I had 2 of the wetside magnet housings come apart. It dose not look like they are sealed very well or that the magnets are coated. Are there going to be issues with them rusting?

If you want to play it safe, put a large glob of reef safe epoxy or cyanoacrelate on both sides of the magnet and close it up. It will never come apart on you that way and will seal it very well.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can prove it mathematically.

Can you tell me where you bought the mounts? I need a few and have not been able to find them for sales.
