They were discussing it on the comments of their Reef-A-Palooza facebook live stream. I didn't see any concrete information other than the gph of the pump.

Neptune Systems · As a single pump, no, it would not be the right fit. However, run two, separately, and then you will have the flow and the redundancy if you have an issue.

I'm pretty sure 2000 gph is more than was originally spec'd, so that's good news. For some reason I'm thinking the original specs discussed were something like 600 gph. I could be wrong.

Reef Octopus VarioS. You can thank us later. Probably the only kit I have bought and would recommend without reservation. It performs as expected, which is high praise in this hobby.
