    Temperature probe

I already have a 1 wire temp probe like the one listed in the link below. Does anyone know if this could be used instead of the Neptune one and what connector and pin connections would be needed?

The Apex unit is specifically designed around their temperature probes, which is a PITA due to the different probe diameter. Given that incentive to use another temp probe, and people complaining about the Apex temp probe not being a standard probe diameter for over 20 years (back to the AquaController) the Apex one is still the standard. My answer will be no. If another probe would work, someone would have found it already.
